A taste of summer.

I haven't posted for a while, but I have been busy....MOVING! Ugh, what a joy. Anyway now (most of) the boxes are unpacked I can show a little bit of what I've been up to. Hopefully, there will be more to come (when I find it!)   

To get us started, here are some drawings of flowers from the garden, including some drawn with my self-made bamboo quill!

I did some drawings of perfume bottles during the 30 day blog challenge and it got me to thinking that I'd like to do a project about perfume. So these are my final images for an editorial about the identity of certain perfumes.

Day Twenty Eight: Falmouth Extravagance!

Back to falmouth today, so naturally we celebrated with a few cocktails this eve! Continuing on the theme of extravagance I drew these beautiful perfume bottles. Perhaps I'll add some colour...another day.

Today has been a day of cutting and sticking, hence I'm not even going to bother putting up a photo, it is THAT BORING!

Day Twenty Three: Organisation

Working on the back cover today, but not much to show for it yet! Another task I have yet to do is arrange my sketchbook. I like to see everything individually as I work through a project so I have a constant reminder of where I'm trying to go. Unfortunately that does mean I always have this sort of mess to sort out at the end.....

Day Twenty: I like versions

I really do like versions. Yesterday was full of versions, and today has been as well. Here are five if pretty much the same thing! (In my obsessive defensive some of them are yet to under-go more processes. Fun.)
